I'm a healthcare data analyst and physician with 5+ years across clinical care, clinical research, and global health program coordination. I work in Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau, with hands-on experience building KPI dashboards, managing EDC/EHR data, and holding data quality to a clinical standard. What I'm good at is translating messy clinical and operational data into findings a team can actually act on — paired with subject-matter grounding in patient care, monitoring & evaluation, and regulatory compliance. Magnitude and determinants of H. pylori infection among endoscopy patients
A case-control study at Jigjiga University SHY Comprehensive Specialized Hospital, Ethiopia, measuring H. pylori prevalence among patients diagnosed by both serology and endoscopy and testing sociodemographic, clinical, socio-cultural, and psychological determinants — the first study to bring all four domains together in one cohort. Analysis ran chi-square and bivariable logistic regression in SPSS, then a multivariable Firth model in Power BI to handle sparse data.

Two decades of WHO leprosy indicators for Ethiopia and Somalia, built into Power BI dashboards for a Horn of Africa surveillance registry — and a written caution that dashboard totals are reported sums, not prevalence, since treatment-registration figures already exceed new-case totals in several countries.

An analytical review of global HIV data showing Africa carries the large majority of the represented burden despite only moderate average treatment coverage — and flagging where the dashboard's own reporting periods and denominators aren't stated clearly enough to trust at face value.

Skin Cancer Risk Intelligence & Diagnosis Optimization — DORI
A SQL analytics engagement for a dermatologic oncology institute, querying patient and lesion records in PostgreSQL to find who is most at risk and where diagnosis lags. An apparent link between poor sanitation and lower malignancy turned out to be detection bias worth flagging, not a real protective effect.
